Made from a single piece of high-quality stainless steel and molded using state-of-the-art technology, the catalytic converter is welded inside the silencer.
It is finished with a handcrafted carbon fiber cover, which incorporates the honeycomb exhaust outlet and the Akrapovič logo in red and white.
Installation is immediate and requires no reprogramming. During development, optimal throttle response and performance were prioritized, resulting in a power increase of 1.8 kW (2.5 hp) at 9500 rpm and a torque increase of 1.4 Nm at 5500 rpm compared to a Suzuki GSX-8S with the stock exhaust system, as tested on the Akrapovič dynamometer.
Weight is reduced by 29.1% (2.2 kg) compared to the stock exhaust system.
This complete system, which delivers a deep, sporty sound, is CE/ECE approved and meets Euro 5+ emissions standards.
It is designed to be compatible with the original Suzuki soft panniers.
