It was designed in collaboration with Akrapovič's racing department, leveraging years of experience in high-level off-road racing.
During development, power and torque were the focus, and a professional test rider conducted tests on an MX track to determine the most suitable version.
The innovative design ensures greater durability and allows for greater sound insulation to mitigate the environmental impact, while facilitating the flow of exhaust gases with minimal restrictions.
Its shape fits perfectly within the motorcycle's limited space.
A special technique was used to imprint the Akrapovič logo on the outer sleeve of the silencer. The logo is now larger and combines white and red using the same method applied to racing exhausts.
This new technology provides a higher temperature threshold and greater durability for a product that will be used in the harshest conditions.
Lightweight materials allow for a weight saving of 21.3% (0.9 kg) compared to the standard model, and the varying thicknesses in the different sections ensure perfect protection, allowing the added strength created by the design to provide greater resistance under the most demanding conditions. Designed exclusively for use on closed racing circuits, the exhaust produces a deep racing sound that meets the FIM's 109 dB noise limits.
Its simple "plug and play" installation eliminates the need for reprogramming.
