No modifications needed
The MWR full racing air filter was developed on the track, developed for racing bikes, NOT for road bikes, not on a dynamometer, but in real life, on the track, professional racing bikes with data loggers. The protection is at the same level as the high performance filter and the “HE” filter, but for a shorter time due to the much more open structure of the foam materials.
Unlike all other sport filters, the racing filter creates a much better and even air flow to all cylinders, which means that you have to adapt the fuel supply of all cylinders separately to achieve the maximum effect of the “HE” filter. Affects all twin, V-twin, triple, quad and V4 engines
Remapping of the ECU or fuel control module is highly recommended
