The MC-040-20R can also be used on the Ninja 250/400 and Z250/400 in combination with the Velocity Stacks MWR-VS-435 high performance filters

No modifications necessary

The MWR racing air filter is developed on the track, for racing bikes - NOT for road bikes, not on a dyno, but in real life, on the track, for professional racing bikes with data loggers. The protection is at the same level as the performance filter and the “HE” filter, but for a shorter time due to the much more open structure of the foam materials.

Unlike all other sports filters, the racing filter creates a much better and more even airflow to all cylinders, which means that you have to adapt the fuel supply of all cylinders separately to achieve the maximum effect of the “HE” filter. Affects all twin, V-twin, triple, quad and V4 engines

Remapping of the ECU or fuel control module is highly recommended.
