This CE/ECE type-approved exhaust requires the original exhaust system to be cut for installation, retaining the original catalytic converter in the header to meet type approval requirements. Due to this requirement, an optional reassembly kit (SS) has been developed to allow customers to remove the Slip-On exhaust (SS) and reinstall the original system on the cut-off cylinder head at a later date if needed.
Plug-and-play installation means no remapping is required. The system is also compatible with the Yamaha XMAX 125 Tech MAX version.
