How to choose your motorbike protection

1. Level of protection: Prioritise certifications EC and the level (1 o 2). The Level 2 offers greater absorption (safer), although it tends to be somewhat thicker.
2. Fit and ergonomics: Look for straps and elastic bands adjustable for a snug fit without restricting movement. Check that it does not create pressure points on the collarbones, ribs or lower back.
3. Ventilation and climate: Perforations and mesh for summer; liners thermals or dense textiles for in-between seasons. If you ride all year round, consider removable panels or multi-layer garments.
4. Compatibility with your equipment: Jackets with pockets for protections (CE insert) facilitate integration. Verify that the breastplate/armour does not interfere with the backpack or camelback.

1. Remove the pads if the garment is washable; hand wash or wash at low temperature.
