ARROW Race-Tech / Kymco Xciting 400

The Arrow Race-Tech silencer was the first exhaust to be manufactured in a diamond shape which in recent years has replaced "old style" traditional cylindrical or elliptical shaped exhausts. The innovative shape of the diamond design meant that Arrow was able to reduce the dimensions of the traditional shape while maintaining the same outlines. This allowed weight to be reduced without affecting internal volume and noise levels to be kept within acceptable limits without interfering with performance. The internal components of the silencers are produced in stainless steel and coupled with TIG welding technology. All "wet" sections (those where there is gas flow) are kept under strict dimensional control to optimise gas flow. A very important feature is the rear termination and gas outlet: these components are designed to optimise turbulence-free gas flow, reducing the negative effects of pressure. The Race-Tech silencers are available in the version approved for almost all motorbikes and are equipped with a removable DB-Killer. These silencers are made of titanium, carbon fibre or aluminium. For some bikes the titanium silencer is also available with the new carbon fibre finish.
