General information

The cylindrical/panel air filter is commonly called a replacement air filter. It is installed in the vehicle's original air box to replace the OEM air filter. It is made of high-performance materials that allow for greater air flow combined with more efficient filtration, ensuring the containment of all impurities from as small as 7 microns (compared to 10 microns for OEMs).

BMC air filters are manufactured using a Full Molding system that allows the characteristic red filter to be made from a single mold without welded joints, thus avoiding easy breakage. The rubber used in BMC air filtering systems has a long life, is very durable and has optimal adhesion characteristics to all shapes of airboxes.

BMC filters are made from a multi-layer cotton gauze soaked with low viscosity oil covered with an epoxy-coated alloy mesh to ensure protection against gasoline vapors and oxidation due to air humidity.

All BMC air filters are pre-oiled and can be washed and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit.
