The exhaust's design and lines have been specifically developed to integrate with the motorcycle, and the system is finished with a sandblasted stainless steel heat shield to protect the rider's equipment and a laser-engraved Akrapovič logo on the silencer for a stylish and refined appearance. During the development phase, engineers focused on throttle response and handling, resulting in improved performance thanks to a power increase of 0.9 kW (1.2 hp) and a torque increase of 1.6 Nm, both at 6200 rpm, compared to a BMW R 12 nineT equipped with a standard system and tested on the company's dynamometer.
Weight is reduced by 10.6% compared to the standard exhaust, and the Slip-On (SS) line delivers a deep, sporty sound that meets CE/ECE homologation standards.
This exhaust is ready to install and requires no reprogramming. The exhaust system is also compatible with the standard BMW R 12.
