This new variator is the evolution of previous generations, born from the experience gained over time on competition circuits and the CAD/CAM technology available today, allowing you to obtain the highest level of results and performance.
The movable pulley is the defining component of the entire system and, for this reason, is subject to constant evolution. Designed with a larger diameter than the original, it allows for a significantly greater gear ratio shift.
Advanced computer-aided engineering (CAE) systems have enabled our technicians to analyze the movements of the entire system in the operating vehicle, further optimizing the pulley geometry and preventing collisions even under the most critical operating conditions.
New reinforcing ribs, designed to lighten less critical areas, reduce inertia and, consequently, less engine energy dissipation.
For a striking aesthetic impact, the MALOSSI and MULTIVAR logos have been diamond-coated.
As is evident from the shift curve, the technicians' work has focused on further expanding the operating range of the variator, particularly in low-range mode, thus achieving even greater acceleration and responsiveness, and improving the shift line while maintaining the engine speed almost unchanged throughout the variator's shift phase.
