The Malossi Technical Team has recently worked to improve a leading product, a true benchmark for all T-Max enthusiasts: the legendary Multivar MHR for Yamaha T Max.
To upgrade the transmission system and to enjoy the exceptional technical characteristics and tuning of the variator: the Multivar MHR Next was born. This new variator is the evolution of previous generations, born from years of experience gained on racing circuits and the CAD/CAM technology available today, allowing for maximum performance and results.
As is evident from the shift curve, the engineers' work has focused on further expanding the variator's operating range, particularly in low-range mode, thus achieving even greater acceleration and responsiveness, and improving the shift line while maintaining a virtually constant engine speed throughout the variator's shift phase.
We've outdone ourselves even further: we've further reduced the tolerance between the drum and the bushing and minimized the surface roughness to achieve a truly UNBEATABLE Variator!

Supplied with two sets of rollers and two wedges, allowing you to vary the shift curve of your scooter, perfectly regulating speed and acceleration.
NB: For even better performance, we recommend combining it with the new X K Belt MHR (item no. 6114674).
With a variator of such technical sophistication, don't be surprised if your scooter gains acceleration, shift linearity, greater mechanical "quietness" at high speeds, and performance consistency previously unknown in the base version.
Dekra Certification GmbH certifies that Malossi, in the production of complete variators - CVT units, has implemented and effectively applies a quality management system in accordance with the standards required by German and international traffic laws (KBA).
