This neo-retro exhaust uses a traditional design, first used by Akrapovič 30 years ago, now updated for today's market with modern technology, cutting-edge solutions and innovative materials.

The complete system is CE/ECE approved, with an integrated catalytic converter making it a Euro 5 product. The muffler outer jacket is made of high quality titanium, with stainless steel for all other components, and the silencer and silencer are sandblasted for a perfect finish.
The package includes a black coated muffler bracket and two heat shields, designed to protect the riding gear.
The muffler exits from the right side of the bike (the stock muffler is underneath), enhancing the sporty, retro look of the machine.
The system delivers a deep, full and vivid sound, along with perfect throttle response. It adds 1.4kW (1.9bhp) of power at 9100rpm and increases torque by 1.4Nm at 9800rpm, measured on the Akrapovič dyno against a Yamaha XSR900 with the standard exhaust system. Installation is immediate, with no reprogramming required.
This system is not compatible with the original Yamaha saddlebags.
